About the role
- Responsible for the operations and maintenance of inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure
- Develop ISP/OSP architectures to support design and optimization
- Provide guidance to survey teams for documentation
- Review Site Survey ISP/OSP information and develop survey reports
- Provide Tier 3 support for operations, maintenance and documentation
- Ensure installations are performed per approved design and standards
- Oversee and support deployment teams for survey, installation, testing, and QA activities
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related work experience
- Experience in network planning, design strategies for an enterprise BAN
- Familiarity with Air Force telecommunications regulations and standards
- Strong knowledge of fiber optics, copper cabling, and wireless technologies
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Visio)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
