Lead architecture and design of case management applications
Design and implement Appian Case Management applications using Case Management Studio
Configure case hierarchies, record relationships, task routing, and reporting dashboards
Integrate Appian workflows with SAP ECC systems using REST/OData services
Build low-code automation components such as Web APIs, RPA bots, and process event triggers
Collaborate with SAP, database, and middleware teams
Ensure all integrations and applications adhere to FedRAMP, FISMA, and agency ATO requirements
Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews
Develop and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and configuration guides
Support production deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Leverage Appian Reports and Process Analytics for operational performance insight

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
Currently hold or obtain a public trust security clearance
7+ years of IT experience
5+ years of Appian experience
1+ year with Appian Case Management Studio
Hands-on experience developing process models, records, interfaces, and decision rules in Appian
Working knowledge of Appian Data Fabric and Record-to-Record relationships
Experience integrating Appian with enterprise systems via REST APIs, OData, or web services
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence
Familiarity with Federal IT compliance frameworks (FedRAMP Moderate, FISMA, NIST 800-53)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong written and oral communication abilities
Appian Certified Associate or Senior Developer credential (desired)
Experience with Appian Case Management Studio advanced features (desired)
Exposure to SAP BTP or SAP Gateway (desired)
Familiarity with Appian RPA, Appian AI Copilot, or Appian Process Mining (desired)
Basic understanding of ABAP data structures or SAP ECC business objects related to Finance, Procurement, or Logistics (desired)
