About the role

  • Analyze, configure, and support SAP MM modules including procurement, inventory management, and material master data
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements; translate them into functional specifications and technical solutions
  • Develop and support ABAP enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms (RICEFW objects)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across SAP MM and integrated modules (e.g., FI, WM, PM)
  • Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support deployment activities
  • Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Support data integrity initiatives including master data governance and cleanup efforts
  • Collaborate with Basis, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and 6+ years of experience in SAP Materials Management (MM)
  • Hands-on experience configuring SAP MM processes (procurement, inventory, goods movement, material master)
  • Experience with ABAP development including debugging and working with technical objects
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration points with other modules (FI, WM, PM, etc.)
  • Experience eliciting requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with DoD/Navy supply chain or logistics environments
  • Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
