About the role
- Define client requirements for RF solutions
- Allocate system requirements and derive requirements to ensure system architecture compliance
- Interface with RF systems engineers and other technical experts
- Work with clients to resolve critical needs and challenges
- Define total systems design and technology maturity constraints
- Develop system element architecture and design interface definitions
- Provide technical direction related to system architecture implementation
- Develop models and architectural guidelines for system development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related major
- 10+ years experience specifically leading, designing, and developing RF solutions
- Proven thought leadership for defining innovative, creative and cost effective design solutions
- Demonstrated experience in RF systems requirements analysis, system architecture design and signals decomposition
- Demonstrated leadership in defining RF systems design, collaborating with diverse, cross functional, and geographically dispersed hardware and software teams
- Experience with MATLAB or equivalent modeling tools
- Experience using MBSE tools such as CameoEA, DOORS, Rhapsody
- Experience mentoring junior systems engineers
- Experience briefing program and customer executives
