About the role
- Lead a group of ~3-10 engineers, designers, and analysts
- Provide engineering support in developing Navy ships
- Manage accurate engineering resources and staffing plans
- Ensure engineering and Quality Assurance standards are met
- Stay current in modern ship design requirements and analysis technologies
- Support technical proposal development as needed
- Improve team efficiency and functionality in design deliverables
Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related degree
- US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
- Fifteen years of experience in US Naval Ship Engineering
- Ten years of experience performing as a key leader of an engineering team
- Experience briefing complex technical issues to decision makers
- Strong analytical skills
