About the role
- Provide technical support to NAVSEA/NSWC/MSC clients in developing Navy ships
- Lead engineering efforts on ship design programs
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with teammates
- Advise on electrical generation and propulsion systems best practices
- Stay current in modern ship design requirements and technologies
Requirements
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Engineering (BSE/BE)
- BS/AS in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or marine engineering; or similar background
- 8-15 years of experience in Naval Ship Engineering
- Five years of experience in US Navy or related projects
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read technical electrical documentation
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
