About the role

  • Manage and direct company efforts relating to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Interact with US Government agencies such as DCMA and DCAA.
  • Oversee preparation of financial filings associated with US Government procurement.
  • Respond to US Government audits and develop negotiation strategies for adverse findings.
  • Evaluate cost structure alternatives and compliance considerations.
  • Support acquisition-related efforts through due diligence and integration.
  • Assist in managing risks of non-compliance and maintaining effective communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • 18+ years of related experience.
  • High degree of knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting, finance, and economics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills are essential.
  • MBA or CPA (desired).
  • Experience with sizable government contractors (desired).
