About the role
- Craft persuasive, on-brand copy for campaigns, executive communications, web, social, video, and events.
- Interview subject-matter experts and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling language.
- Apply voice/tone and brand guidelines consistently across formats and channels.
- Edit and proofread for precision, accessibility, and compliance.
- Partner with designers to concept creative ideas and narratives.
- Incorporate feedback quickly; manage multiple deadlines with calm and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in copywriting.
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise, versatility, and measurable results.
- Master’s degree (i.e., Creative Writing, Advertising) desired.
- Experience working in the national security industry.
