About the role
- Participate on an Agile team in the planning, design, development, and support of web-based financial management applications
- Use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data cleaning) to analyze data and validate Qlik outputs
- Develop subject matter expertise for assigned systems and related business processes
- Work with the client to define and document client business requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed user, functional, and systems requirements that will be developed by the development team
- Test new software and software changes to ensure implementation meets specifications/requirements and customer expectations
- Troubleshoot the system to determine the source of systems errors
- Find and log systems defects, including steps required to repeat, and track defects to closure
- Train and support end users on Qlik functionality, filters, and self-service analytics
- Support the client during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect correction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Relevant experience in financial and cost analysis, database design and SQL, and developing data visualizations or dashboards using quantitative methods
- Must be willing and available to provide occasional onsite client site support within the Washington DC geographic area
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
- Must be US citizen
