About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the Risk Management Account Executive team for staffing, training, account assignments, and day-to-day management
  • Manage a book of several large and complex accounts
  • Lead colleagues in delivering coordinated brokerage and client services
  • Coordinate brokerage, risk control, claims, and financial lines teams
  • Establish processes and monitor critical timelines for annual insurance renewals
  • Participate in and lead client renewal meetings when necessary
  • Understand and analyze financial and claims data
  • Participate in prospect presentation meetings
  • Identify and facilitate expanded business opportunities with existing clients
  • Prepare, send, and process renewal submissions for marketing
  • Analyze quotes and prepare quote spreadsheets
  • Analyze data to determine program structure options
  • Create client presentations and internal marketing materials
  • Oversee implementation and review insurance company documents for accuracy
  • Supervise support staff and manage workflow
  • Act as a resource for AEs, AAEs, and AMs in Risk Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • State specific license is required
  • 15+ years of commercial insurance work experience with large accounts is required
  • AE work and broking/placement experience is a major plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher
  • Professional appearance and business conduct with strong customer service
  • Ability to travel to client and prospect meetings approximately 20% of the time
