About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Account Executive and Producers with marketing and servicing new and renewal business for the Select Client, Portfolio Solutions book
- Coordinate with the production team and insurance carriers to facilitate successful client renewals
- Discuss renewal strategy internally with the Account Executive
- Prepare renewal outputs, including certificate holder lists, manuscript certificates, auto ID card distribution, workers’ compensation posting needs, quotes, premium financing quotes, policy files, binders, invoices, and renewal communications
- Follow up with carriers and brokers regarding policies, endorsements, policy checking, and client delivery
- Maintain EPIC records, including policies, endorsements, invoices, auto ID cards, certificates, and audits
- Monitor policy expiration dates and handle audit reviews
- Handle ad hoc requests for certificates, auto ID cards, and endorsements
- Set up new clients in EPIC and obtain and review policies, schedules of insurance, certificates, and auto ID cards
- Develop and maintain account handling instructions and plan upcoming renewals
- Follow up with clients for payment and resolve accounting issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of P&C insurance experience required
- State-specific license required, or obtained within 60 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Salesforce, eCerts, and EPIC experience preferred
