About the role
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitoring and evaluating patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Providing education and support to patients and their families on strategies for independent living and self-management
Requirements
- Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- At least one year of occupational therapy experience or undergraduate experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, both independently and in a structured environment
- Commitment to quality clinical care, and sound clinical skills
- Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills – written and verbal - with a strong client focus
