About the role

  • Responsible for implementing the backend and frontend
  • Designing and implementing APIs
  • Collaborating with the DevOps Engineer and Solution Architects
  • Ensuring implemented components are observable
  • Creating and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration) for backend and frontend
  • Maintaining application documentation and coordinating with internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in backend or data engineering
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go
  • Experience with frontend development using modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Experience implementing REST APIs
  • Experience with containerized applications (Docker)
  • Knowledge of time-series and relational databases (InfluxDB, Postgres)
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization
  • At least 3 years of experience developing for industrial/IoT/OT projects is a plus
  • Ability to produce technical documentation
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
