About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the Financial Planning area, ensuring alignment with Controllership guidelines and standardization of information with corporate strategy.
- Prepare short-, medium- and long-term budget plans, reporting to management for executive presentations to the board of directors and advisory boards.
- Monitor expense and cost control deliverables and coordinate the budgeting process for the Operator, in-house structures and strategic partnerships, consolidating views by cost center.
- Support other areas of the organization in preparing financial feasibility studies and analyses to inform strategic decisions.
- Supervise and guide the extraction of available data, structuring reports for specific departments.
- Monitor, compare and analyze market positioning, projecting scenarios and trends.
- Manage area performance indicators, analyzing Objectives vs. Results statements and implementing course corrections and strategic revisions when necessary.
- Comply with and enforce internal regulations, quality management system requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Be responsible for direct team management (hiring, termination, vacation, promotion, feedback and performance evaluation).
- Identify training needs and work with HR to implement policies that promote a motivating, high-performance work environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid experience in Financial Planning (FP&A), Controllership and Budget Management.
- Previous experience in team management/leadership.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and related data.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controllership or Business Management (preferred).
- Experience in the health plan operator or insurance segments (preferred).
