About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the team with routine tasks and day-to-day activities in the area
Understand and relate the importance of internal processes and their impacts across the organization
Know and apply design principles (functional, symbolic, and aesthetic)
Know and apply UX principles, including research, prototyping, usability testing, iteration, consistency, user understanding, simplified experiences, coherent information architecture, and visual feedback
Create prototypes consistent with the design system and user flows
Have basic knowledge of and apply generative artificial intelligence and prompt techniques across different interfaces
Test interfaces and advocate for the user

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or technologist program in Design, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or Information Technology
Strong communication, negotiation, creativity, teamwork, dynamism, and flexibility skills
Be proactive in additional areas such as diversity and inclusion, lab activities, research, and community outreach
Knowledge of Figma, Design Systems, Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Service Blueprint, Google Analytics, and artificial intelligence is a plus
