About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support management in developing the Annual Audit Plan based on risk, strategy, and data.
Conduct high-complexity audits, including strategic, regulatory, technological, and cross-functional topics.
Serve as the team's technical reference on methodology, testing, risk assessment, and report preparation.
Support the evolution of audit methodology, standards, templates, indicators, and internal audit practices.
Design and coordinate work programs, tests, and audit analyses.
Assist management in defining prioritization models based on risk, criticality, and analytics.
Develop analyses using structured and unstructured data to identify deviations, trends, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare clear and concise executive audit reports.
Support executive presentations and reports for the Audit Committee, Board, and Senior Management.
Provide technical coordination and oversight of contracted third parties.
Monitor action plans and risk evolution using metrics and historical data.
Operate in compliance with the IIA's Global Standards for Internal Audit.
Support external audits and assurance engagements as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with complex audits and regulated environments.
Solid knowledge of the IIA's Global Standards for Internal Audit.
Experience with risk-based auditing and analytics.
Ability to translate data into executive insights.
Experience with analytical tools (ACL/Diligent, Power BI, or similar).
Strong executive writing skills and ability to build management presentations.
Knowledge of internal controls, governance, and risk management.
Strong intellectual autonomy.
Ability to structure and develop nascent topics.
Critical thinking and systems perspective.
Strong executive communication skills.
Ability to influence without relying on positional authority.
Maturity to engage with senior leadership.
Hands-on profile with a strategic outlook.
Ability to organize and raise the technical level of the team.
