Key responsibilities & impact

lead our tax function while serving as a trusted advisor to our clients
mentor our team
review and oversee the preparation of business and individual tax returns
develop proactive tax strategies for clients across a range of industries
partner with clients to identify planning opportunities and optimize outcomes
serve as the firm’s go-to resource for all tax-related matters
support and review work performed by managers and team members
establish best practices, processes, and standards for tax work
train and mentor staff on tax concepts, strategy, and execution
provide ongoing feedback to improve quality and consistency
contribute to hiring, structure, and long-term tax function growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required in accounting
CPA
5+ years of experience in public accounting
Strong experience with both business and individual tax
Prior experience reviewing returns and managing work quality
Experience in mentoring and managing team members
Desire to take ownership and grow a function
