About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Record and code daily transactions (bank, credit card, payroll, other journals)
Assist with monthly account reconciliations
Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for key balance sheet accounts
Support accounts payable processes
Support accounts receivable processes
Assist with payroll workflows
Maintain organized electronic workpapers and documentation
Help prepare standardized monthly financial reporting packages
Research and resolve basic variances or data issues
Communicate professionally with internal team members and clients
Contribute to process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress with relevant experience)
2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a client accounting services environment (internships and part‑time roles acceptable)
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits/credits and the structure of financial statements
Experience with cloud accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar) preferred
Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, including basic formulas and data organization
