About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage MICE enquiries from quotation through to confirmation
- Prepare detailed itineraries, quotations and costings
- Coordinate accommodation, transport, venues, activities and events
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate competitive rates
- Produce operational documentation and hand over confirmed bookings
- Support groups during travel and major events
- Work closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to ensure seamless delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 8 years' luxury travel reservations experience
- At least 5 years' MICE, incentives or large group reservations experience
- Previous experience with a Southern African Destination Management Company
- Extensive knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia
- Experience managing complex multi-country itineraries
- Strong costing, quoting and negotiation skills
- Travel Studio and WETU experience advantageous
- Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
