About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage MICE enquiries from quotation through to confirmation
  • Prepare detailed itineraries, quotations and costings
  • Coordinate accommodation, transport, venues, activities and events
  • Liaise with suppliers and negotiate competitive rates
  • Produce operational documentation and hand over confirmed bookings
  • Support groups during travel and major events
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to ensure seamless delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years' luxury travel reservations experience
  • At least 5 years' MICE, incentives or large group reservations experience
  • Previous experience with a Southern African Destination Management Company
  • Extensive knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia
  • Experience managing complex multi-country itineraries
  • Strong costing, quoting and negotiation skills
  • Travel Studio and WETU experience advantageous
  • Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
