About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implementation of planning tasks for assigned projects within the defined scope and responsibilities as Project Lead for the Vertical Transportation discipline for all design phases of a building project (e.g., HOAI, RIBA, AIA)
- Use of planning/design tools such as Elevate, AutoCAD, and Lift Designer
- Development of technical specifications for non‑standard systems and design of bespoke/specialized lift installations
- Project communication and documentation in German and English
- Technical interface to other trades, architectural firms, project developers, and manufacturing partners
- Creation and continuous development of internal standards and tools to optimize the design process
- Quality review and assurance of the work of the entire team
- Support for supervisor activities such as project planning, proposal preparation, resource planning, etc.
- Activities to expand the service offering and for client and project acquisition (business development)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or equivalent technical qualification / technician certification
- Several years of professional experience in the elevator industry or specialist vertical transportation consultancy, preferably with experience in technical leadership
- Proficient user knowledge of Elevate, AutoCAD, and Lift Designer
- Sufficient knowledge of design phases, elevator regulations, and local building codes in Europe and the Middle East
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel and strong motivation for international project work
