About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning of electrical trades KG 440 and KG 450 according to DIN 276 in service phases LP1 to LP7 under HOAI
Fault analysis for medium-voltage networks and calculation/design of medium-voltage networks and cables
Sizing of low-voltage cables using recognized software tools
Preparation of LP5 UV cable calculations
Revit 3D planning of electrical power systems
Determination and verification of project implementation costs
Participation in the preparation of tender documents
Communicating planning results within the team and in external meetings, and presenting design deliverables in presentations and explanatory reports
Preparation of LP6 low-voltage bills of quantities (BOQ) using ORCA software
Direct consultation with clients and collaboration with architectural firms and project owners
Taking on technical coordination of the design disciplines with members of the planning team
Where applicable: mentoring and technical leadership for junior engineers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Dipl.-Ing. / Meister / Technician / Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
Several years of professional experience in a design/engineering office and experience leading a team
Very good knowledge of German standards and multidisciplinary planning
Experience with Revit, Caneco and ORCA
Proven project successes in building services/technical building systems with respect to cost and schedule adherence
Experience dealing with demanding clients
Strong communication skills in German and English
