About the role

  • Develop and maintain Burai’s cross-platform React Native application
  • Build features and UI components with React Native and Expo
  • Optimize app performance and reliability for each platform
  • Integrate GraphQL and REST APIs
  • Automate releases and deployments using Expo EAS and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and mentorship
  • Maintain security and compliance by implementing secure data storage and authentication

Requirements

  • 5+ years software development
  • 3+ years Expo React Native mobile apps in production
  • Proven experience launching and maintaining complex React Native apps (iOS/Android)
  • Strong React Native & Expo skills; deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Built apps for both iOS and Android; understands UI/UX patterns and responsive design
  • Bonus: React Native Web and Tauri experience
  • Designs scalable front-end; optimizes app performance
  • Integrates GraphQL (Apollo Client) and REST APIs
  • Skilled in Git, CI/CD
  • Strong problem solver with ownership mindset
  • Communicates well, mentors teammates, promotes best practices
