About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, deployment and operation of private cloud infrastructures with a high level of security
Securing the deployed technology stack through security measures and hardening
Monitoring of managed services to ensure agreed system availability and proactive incident detection, remediation and prevention
Developing and implementing best-practice guidelines within the area of responsibility
Provisioning and adapting environments for testing and integration of new or updated products and technologies
Automating tasks using orchestration and configuration tools
Ensuring stable and uninterrupted system operation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker), a degree in computer science, or equivalent professional experience
Professional experience with secure virtualized infrastructures and common virtualization solutions, plus strong knowledge of cloud technologies, Kubernetes and OpenStack
Practical experience in provisioning and operating Linux systems
Proven experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
Experience in regulated environments and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI C5, or similar) is desirable
Team player, openness to new technologies and projects, and enthusiasm for working with open-source tools
