About the role

  • Expansion of the Application Operations platform for the Bundesdruckerei Group
  • Automation of IT processes (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment)
  • Development of managed services to simplify development and operations processes
  • Design, implementation and configuration of developer services (logging, secrets management and virtual machine services)
  • Documentation of work results and systems in ticketing and knowledge platforms
  • Analysis and resolution of system incidents as part of investigations, including careful error documentation

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or a related field, or IT vocational training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position
  • Practical experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications
  • Experience operating logging, secrets management and virtual machine services, plus an understanding of DevOps principles and interest in applying them in practice
  • Know‑how in programming, scripting and Infrastructure as Code (Python, Shell, YAML, JSON, Perl) and experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible
  • Analytical, service‑oriented working style and enjoyment of working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Good English skills and German skills (at least B2)
