About the role
- Collect and analyze metrics, operating systems, and applications to support performance optimization and troubleshooting
- Improve our services through consistent testing and release procedures within a cross-functional team
- Develop sustainable systems and services through automation and continuous improvement
- Balance feature development and reliability with clearly defined Service Level Objectives
- Document best-practice approaches and support cross-departmental knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, plus relevant professional experience in the IT field
- Solid experience in Linux / RHEL administration (system performance, networking, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and containerization (Pods, Services, Ingress, scheduling)
- Experience in incident management, on-call duty, and conducting postmortems (e.g., via OpsGenie)
- Understanding of security concepts, secrets management (e.g., Vault), and access control (RBAC)
- Analytical, service-oriented working style and enjoyment of working in agile teams
