About the role

  • Functional and disciplinary leadership and establishment of the Security Governance & Assurance team
  • Implementation, operation and continuous development of the ISMS according to BSI standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
  • Deriving and prioritizing sub-goals from corporate and departmental objectives
  • Promoting and identifying development opportunities for team members
  • Developing and successfully implementing the team vision in collaboration with the management team
  • Promoting cross-departmental collaboration and active knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Security Management, Information Systems or a related field, or completed vocational training (e.g., IT specialist)
  • Experience in building and leading teams in the security domain
  • Relevant professional experience in information security and classified information protection in the setup and operation of ISMS according to BSI standards
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks (IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001, classified information protection, project management, etc.)
  • Operational implementation skills and the ability to think and act strategically and analytically
  • Problem-solving skills, audience-appropriate communication and presentation abilities, team spirit, and a modern leadership style
