About the role

  • Perform comprehensive system tests on our machines and plant engineering systems to ensure performance, functionality, and safety
  • Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications
  • Identify and document defects, deviations, and weaknesses in systems
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to analyze test results and develop solutions for bug fixes and performance improvements
  • Execute regression tests to verify that defects have been resolved and system enhancements have been successfully implemented
  • Support the development and implementation of automated test procedures and tools

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in system integration and system testing within mechanical engineering
  • Solid experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Experience with fault analysis and issue-tracking tools
  • Programming knowledge is an advantage, especially in test automation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Independent working style and a high sense of responsibility
  • Very good German language skills (at least B2 level) for professional communication in the workplace
