About the role

  • Development and implementation of software solutions for automation engineering
  • Analysis of requirements and creation of software concepts
  • Programming of control and monitoring systems
  • Integration of software components into existing systems
  • Conducting tests and troubleshooting
  • Optimization and further development of existing software solutions
  • Travel to support customers, commission systems and provide on-site training

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of software development with TwinCAT 3
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C# and Python
  • Knowledge of control and regulation engineering
  • Experience with automation systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA or DCS) is an advantage
  • Good understanding of network technologies and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, OPC, EtherCAT)
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Germany
  • Independent, structured working style combined with team orientation and strong communication skills
  • Fluent German language skills, spoken and written, at least B2 level for reliable workplace communication
