About the role
- Independent identification and development of new business opportunities
- Development and implementation of key account strategies and steering business development
- Strategic business initiation / project acquisition and order generation in a complex environment
- Expansion of existing customer relationships
- Analysis of customer needs and capturing customer developments, requirements and trends, and coordination with internal Bundesdruckerei stakeholders
- Consulting on and development of complex, customer-specific solution concepts
- Management of complex tenders and proposals
- Representation of Bundesdruckerei, conception and participation in client events and trade fairs
- Disciplinary and technical leadership of currently 7 employees and further development of staff within the department
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, economics/business administration, political science, a technical discipline or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the public sector
- Leadership, management and acquisition skills as well as customer- and service-orientation
- Good project management skills
- Process-oriented, strategic and commercially minded thinking and acting
- Strong problem-solving skills and steering/management competence
- Structured and independent working style as well as flexibility and self-responsibility combined with a confident presence and assertiveness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as strong team orientation, social skills and interpersonal ease
