About the role

  • Independent identification and development of new business opportunities
  • Development and implementation of key account strategies and steering business development
  • Strategic business initiation / project acquisition and order generation in a complex environment
  • Expansion of existing customer relationships
  • Analysis of customer needs and capturing customer developments, requirements and trends, and coordination with internal Bundesdruckerei stakeholders
  • Consulting on and development of complex, customer-specific solution concepts
  • Management of complex tenders and proposals
  • Representation of Bundesdruckerei, conception and participation in client events and trade fairs
  • Disciplinary and technical leadership of currently 7 employees and further development of staff within the department

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, economics/business administration, political science, a technical discipline or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in the public sector
  • Leadership, management and acquisition skills as well as customer- and service-orientation
  • Good project management skills
  • Process-oriented, strategic and commercially minded thinking and acting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and steering/management competence
  • Structured and independent working style as well as flexibility and self-responsibility combined with a confident presence and assertiveness
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as strong team orientation, social skills and interpersonal ease
