About the role

  • Independently identify and develop new business opportunities for Bundesdruckerei (e.g., in digital identities, public administration digitization, and cybersecurity)
  • Independently analyze customer needs, market and technology trends (e.g., data analytics, AI, cloud) and the regulatory environment
  • Develop solution concepts in close collaboration with our customers (especially federal ministries) and Bundesdruckerei's interdisciplinary teams
  • Initiate and support the implementation of high-visibility digitalization projects with significant societal relevance
  • Build and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships (e.g., federal and state authorities, corporate partners, associations)

Requirements

  • Degree in economics, political science, computer science, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience (e.g., (IT) consulting, sales, product management, business development, strategy)
  • Strong knowledge of the public sector and digital policy initiatives
  • Highly analytical approach and enjoyment of conceptual, independent work
  • Experience leading (cross-functional) project teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a confident, persuasive presence in customer-facing situations
