About the role

  • Design, build and configure CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments
  • Implement application and user security (LDAP, SAML2, OIDC, Keycloak)
  • Set up, operate and maintain databases (primarily Postgres, MariaDB)
  • Automate deployments with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize and ArgoCD
  • Deploy and operate third‑party tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, Vault, Argo Workflows, Superset, and others
  • Install and operate on‑premise solutions for secrets, password, repository and source code management
  • Ensure platform quality by contributing to test automation in collaboration with the Quality team
  • Take technical responsibility for services of the private cloud platform and collaborate with Architecture, Project Management and other teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant professional experience in a similar position
  • Proficient with Kubernetes manifests, Helm and Kustomize
  • Basic knowledge of Ansible and Terraform
  • Experienced in designing and evolving CI/CD processes, particularly with regard to Day‑2 operations
  • Confident working in Linux environments
  • Practical experience with orchestration of containerized applications (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • General IT know‑how, especially operating software solutions with external cloud providers and familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Systematic, goal‑oriented and independent working style
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1)
