About the role
- Identification, management and controlling of politically relevant topics for Bundesdruckerei (Federal Printing) in Germany and Europe
- Maintenance and expansion of the network with decision-makers in government and parliament, authorities and NGOs
- Representation of Bundesdruckerei's interests vis-à-vis politics and public administration, e.g., through association work, meetings or public panel discussions
- Coordination, preparation and conduct of meetings with relevant political stakeholders
- Preparation of public appearances and meetings for the Executive Board and department heads
- Coordination, preparation and execution of political events (including budget responsibility)
- Organization of committee management and oversight of agencies and external service providers
Requirements
- University degree or vocational training in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Business Administration, Political Science, Journalism or a comparable (specialized) field
- Several years of professional experience in public affairs work in politics, public administration, associations, agencies or companies
- Professional expertise in political processes and digital policy topics as well as experience managing complex projects
- Cross-functional understanding of business processes and requirements and a clear strategic focus in project implementation
- Independent, organized and reliable working style as well as a systematic-methodical approach and results- and goal-oriented actions
- Operational decision-making, assertiveness and implementation capability as well as a confident manner and experience collaborating across different hierarchy levels
- Initiative, motivation, customer- and service-orientation, as well as demonstrable German language skills and English skills at least at C1 level
