About the role
- Develop and implement customer-focused sales strategies to achieve business and revenue targets – with a special focus on the market for postage stamps and security bands
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships and proactively acquire new clients – including in the public sector
- Strategically focus on selected customers to prepare for upcoming tenders, direct awards and pilot productions – with the aim of building strong and sustainable customer relationships.
- Conduct sales meetings, negotiate contract terms within own decision-making authority and prepare, submit and follow up on proposals.
- Continuous market monitoring, customer and competitor analysis
- Responsible for sales planning and preparing forecasts for managed customers and segments
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Printing & Media Technology, Business Administration or a comparable field of study.
- Industry knowledge and interest in the printing industry advantageous
- Sales experience desirable
- Independent, structured and meticulous way of working
- High level of trustworthiness, sense of responsibility and strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel – primarily nationally and within Europe, occasionally outside Europe
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent German and English skills, additional language skills advantageous.
