About the role

  • Automate processes across complex virtual system landscapes (Linux/Windows) using Ansible
  • Integrate applications and services in close collaboration with project teams
  • Build, operate and optimize high-performance system landscapes (Linux/Windows)
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies and actively contribute to requirements analysis
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to enable efficient IT automation
  • Advance monitoring, logging and trending solutions for system optimization
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting, coordinating the implementation of sustainable solutions
  • Provide second- and third-level support and expertise to ensure a smooth IT environment

Requirements

  • Degree in information technology or a comparable qualification acquired through vocational training and relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience in building, operating and automating Linux and Windows system landscapes
  • Experience in automated integration and operation of client and server applications, web servers and Microsoft backend components
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks, plus knowledge of IT security including public key infrastructures and experience operating databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
  • Agile working methods with tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira and Confluence, and experience with version control in Git/GitLab
  • Solid knowledge in developing Ansible AWX playbooks and roles
  • Understanding of modern IT architectures such as microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Oracle WebLogic Server, and in-depth networking knowledge in routing, load balancing and DNS
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, at least C1 level
