About the role

  • Preparation of the consolidated financial statements and quarterly financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Monthly group (consolidated) reporting
  • Preparation of individual financial statements for subsidiaries
  • Cash management: liquidity forecasting, currency forward contracts, and foreign-currency valuation
  • Ongoing process optimization
  • Maintenance of balance sheet structures and chart of accounts in SAP
  • Point of contact for internal and external accountants on HGB-related issues
  • Point of contact for external auditors

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Accounting, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in accounting or in external audit
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand complex interrelations
  • Proficient user knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and the SAP FI module; experience with adjacent modules (CO, MM, SD) is a plus
  • Good command of English
  • Target-oriented and independent working style
  • Strong affinity for numbers and ability to work in a team
