About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
- Prepare internal financial statements and perform financial analysis
- Review inventory accounts and resolve discrepancies with operations and IT
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and solve accounting issues
- Maintain accurate accounting documentation and perform other accounting duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Agility and NetSuite preferred); QuickBooks; BlackLine; ASW; or similar
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
- Intercompany reconciliation and consolidation experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
