Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure Christman is represented on-site every day work is being performed
Lead construction activities within occupied healthcare facilities while prioritizing patient safety
Review conceptual, schematic, and design development documents for constructability
Develop and execute detailed project phasing plans
Implement and enforce project-specific safety programs
Conduct site safety orientations for all personnel
Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA standards
Plan and coordinate site logistics
Partner with the Project Manager, client representatives, designers, and trade contractors
Coordinate utility shutdowns and critical infrastructure work
Oversee technical interpretation of construction documents
Facilitate pre-installation meetings with trade contractors
Maintain rolling punch lists while ensuring high-quality finishes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent
Demonstrated experience managing healthcare construction projects, including renovations within occupied hospitals
Experience coordinating construction activities around active patient care environments
Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and healthcare regulatory requirements
Successful completion of coursework or training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Microsoft Project
