About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure Christman is represented on-site every day work is being performed
- Lead construction activities within occupied healthcare facilities while prioritizing patient safety
- Review conceptual, schematic, and design development documents for constructability
- Develop and execute detailed project phasing plans
- Implement and enforce project-specific safety programs
- Conduct site safety orientations for all personnel
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA standards
- Plan and coordinate site logistics
- Partner with the Project Manager, client representatives, designers, and trade contractors
- Coordinate utility shutdowns and critical infrastructure work
- Oversee technical interpretation of construction documents
- Facilitate pre-installation meetings with trade contractors
- Maintain rolling punch lists while ensuring high-quality finishes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum five (5) years of commercial construction experience in a leadership role as a Foreman or Superintendent
- Demonstrated experience managing healthcare construction projects, including renovations within occupied hospitals
- Experience coordinating construction activities around active patient care environments
- Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Successful completion of coursework or training in Construction Management, Project Management, Safety, or Leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Microsoft Project
