About the role

  • Exercise independent judgment in reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring the progress of owner agreements
  • Identify and assess contractual risks by evaluating complex terms and conditions
  • Serve as an advisor to internal stakeholders by providing feedback on contract interpretation and compliance
  • Prepare and modify legal and contractual documents using established templates
  • Maintain and enhance enterprise-wide contract templates, tools, and documentation standards
  • Assist with delivery of contract-related training, guidance, and resources to internal teams
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, legal developments, and emerging issues
  • Assist with addressing complex project-related issues and support claims and disputes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, legal or paralegal studies, or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of progressive experience in contract administration, contract management, risk management, or compliance
  • Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience
  • Paralegal certification or other contract related certifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and risk-assessment skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship building capacity
