About the role
- Perform systems modeling related efforts and ensure that proper systems engineering procedures are followed.
- Work with Lead Architects, Technical Leadership, and Program Management on defining and developing modeling patterns for capturing stakeholder requirements, standards, and processes.
- Apply modeling patterns to systems architectures, operational models, and systems models in support of customer efforts.
- May lead and direct the work of other engineers and stakeholders while acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Perform a range of system model development, analysis, or review tasks under minimal supervision.
- Act as a lead on less complex tasks and responsible for a portion of a model or section of an analysis or design review.
- Support the generation and modeling of design specifications.
- Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
- Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
- Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
- Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
- Support development of technical proposal and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
- Experience with Cameo or a similar MBSE modeling software
- Must be a U.S citizen. Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Experience with working on small agile teams
- Experience with modeling and simulation tool sets and software
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Experience in risk analysis, risk management programs, and Risk Analysis Reports
- Experience in providing engineering design analysis to identify problems that may affect a component or systems performance in the field
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Tool Kit, and/or other SysML enabled tools.
