About the role
- The Senior Low Voltage Designer designs and implements technology, electrical systems, and specifications for project plans in coordination with internal and external business partners.
- Utilizing CAD and Revit software, the Designer designs for new and existing projects including residential, commercial, and industrial.
- Prepare floor plans showing low voltage device layouts, cable pathways, equipment, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least two years of experience with Revit content and family creation and modifications.
- Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and parametric design software such as Autodesk.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam to print full sets of construction documents and perform PDF quality control reviews.
- Familiar with NFPA-72, NFPA-101, Current CBC, IBC, IFC, IBC, BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC standards.
- Requires RCDD Certificate.
