About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Senior Low Voltage Designer designs and implements technology, electrical systems, and specifications for project plans in coordination with internal and external business partners.
Utilizing CAD and Revit software, the Designer designs for new and existing projects including residential, commercial, and industrial.
Prepare floor plans showing low voltage device layouts, cable pathways, equipment, etc.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least two years of experience with Revit content and family creation and modifications.
Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and parametric design software such as Autodesk.
Knowledge of Bluebeam to print full sets of construction documents and perform PDF quality control reviews.
Familiar with NFPA-72, NFPA-101, Current CBC, IBC, IFC, IBC, BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC standards.
Requires RCDD Certificate.
