Parking Product and Revenue Manager
Budapest AirportManages all trading activities for commercial parking including pricing development and revenue strategies in Budapest, Hungary.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all aspects of day to day pricing process for the car parking business.
- Decide tactical pricing and recommends changes to pricing and yield management strategy.
- Development of up-sell, cross-sell and bundling strategies to maximise basket value (average transaction values).
- Ensure prices, capacities and attributes are accurately reflected in sales systems.
- Design and implement program of price testing to ensure prices are optimised to market conditions.
- Deep dive trading data, and deliver insightful analysis to drive smart trading decisions, with ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Support the automation of regular pricing and trading activities (minimize time spent on manual processes).
- Propose market positioning of new parking products (for instance Relax Parking, Valet/Block-Parking).
- Gain understanding of key customer segments for parking and propose roll-up product pricing mix to maximize revenues and align to key customer segments.
- Co-ordinate trading activity with e-commerce and online marketing actions (website revenue and cost of sale)
- Propose the development and implementation of distribution strategy (tour operators, aggregators, airlines, official labels, white labels, etc).
- Monitor and analyse off-airport competition (number of operators, number of spaces, services offered, price comparison, market share, etc).
- Produce sales and occupancy forecasts, liaising with parking operations team as required (effectively manage demand peaks through price).
- Responsible for the website content of his/her portfolio in Mobility Services (both B2B and B2C).
- Manages the Parking GTC’s and Parking Online GTC’s.
- Manages all aspects of the Parking price changes after duly approved and supports the parking development projects as required.
- Prepare presentations and regular/ad-hoc reports for the management and other departments upon request.
Requirements
What you’ll need- College/ University degree in Economics, Finance, Business or Commercial
- At least 5 years of experience working in a commercial environment
- 2 to 3 years of experience of pricing and yield management in a capacity constrained environment, preferably in the travel or leisure industries
- Fluency in Hungarian and in English (written and spoken)
- Understanding of e-commerce, understands how to interpret and exploit web analytics
- Very strong analytical skills, able to use a range of business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Business objects, DataStudio)
- Internal consulting skillset, able to understand the underlying business problem for a piece of analysis
- Understands the role of distribution and able to support his/her line manager in negotiations and implementation of deals with 3rd parties.
- User level PC skills (particularly important Word, Power Point)
- Highly numerate and data driven
- Outstanding level of organizational skills
- Demonstrates structured thinking
- Great attention to detail
- Confident and capable of building strong relationships, both internally and externally across a range of commercial and operational teams
- Strong communicator, comfortable working with senior internal stakeholders up to Director level
- Able to influence
- Able to think laterally/innovatively
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
