About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and manage complex technical solutions to support BSI various environments
- Collaborate and work with cross functional teams including security, architects and delivery
- Contribute to the design, build and operational management of a highly scalable, secure and available PaaS/SaaS platform
- Provide out-of-hours or on-call services as required
- Reduce and remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the ecosystem
- Work to reduce or eliminate manual or repetitive tasks
- Champion and embody a mindset of agile delivery and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Effective key communicator and stakeholder management in large, complex organizations
- Confidence and professionalism when engaging with stakeholders
- Prioritisation and delegation abilities
- Essential technical skills:- CI/CD, microservices, infrastructure as a code, monitoring/logging, containerisation & automation
- Operational Management: Synthetic Monitoring tools: NewRelic, Site24x7 or Pingdom
- Code Management: Azure Repos and/or Enterprise GitHub or Bitbucket
- Container & API technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Apigee
- MS ADO, Azure Boards and/or Jira, Confluence
- Desirable technical skills: Experience of working with offshore/nearshore service providers
- Security, Test & Release Automation: Acunetix (or similar), Azure Artifacts & Test Plans and/or, Jenkins
- Azure Enterprise: Cloud, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments
- Site reliability engineering, familiar with chaos engineering principles
- Certification AZ 900 / AZ 104 / AZ 204 / AZ 500
