About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and lead the global accreditation strategy
  • Maintain strong global and regional accreditation relationships
  • Lead global readiness for external audits
  • Oversee system design, integration, and governance of the Business Management System
  • Identify and mitigate risks to impartiality, compliance, and accreditation
  • Develop and oversee the global internal audit programme
  • Leverage data and horizon scanning to identify regulatory and accreditation changes
  • Build global Q&C capability through training and development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Robust experience in Conformity Assessment at regional/global level
  • Knowledge of IAF Mandatory Documents, ISO/IEC 17021 and related accreditation/recognition requirements
  • Background in accreditation management e.g. ISO/IEC 17021/17029/17064
  • Practical auditing experience desirable
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Experience in managing relationships with accreditation and regulatory bodies
  • High integrity and strong commitment to impartiality and compliance
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Advanced professional certifications e.g. CQI/IRCA, Six Sigma or Risk Management advantageous
  • Excellent command in written and verbal English
