About the role
- Conduct product certification assessments across varied environments
- Ensure compliance with BSI’s certification schemes and Kitemark standards
- Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients
- Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates
- Maintain overall account responsibility and accountability for nominated accounts
- Lead assessment teams as required
- Coach colleagues as appropriate
- Plan/schedule workloads
- Manage a portfolio of assigned clients based on location
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years’ industry experience in product manufacturing environment with emphasis on quality management or product certification
- Ideally qualified within an engineering or manufacturing related subject
- Previous experience in product assessment or auditing against standards
- Can travel frequently
- Knowledge of quality management system auditing practices (ISO 9001)
- Lead Auditor 9001 qualification would be a major advantage
