About the role

  • Strategic responsibility for all relevant digital marketing channels
  • Analysis of existing subscriber and sales channels and development of a cross-channel funnel
  • Copywriting and creation of marketing campaigns
  • Operational management, coordination and reporting of campaigns to executive management
  • Building and maintaining performance marketing activities in collaboration with our team (e.g., paid advertising, email marketing, social media)
  • Identifying and integrating new marketing and growth channels
  • Developing measures to increase the visibility of our magazines and books together with our sales team

Requirements

  • Strong, results-focused copywriting skills
  • Several years of professional experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on digital and growth marketing
  • Practical expertise in cross-channel funnel planning and performance tracking, with an emphasis on subscription models
  • Initial experience with paid advertising, email automation, social media and influencer partnerships
  • Understanding of data analysis and optimization logic
  • Creative, independent and results-oriented working style
  • Understanding of our brand identity (Jacobin and Brumaire Verlag)
  • Desirable: knowledge of the publishing industry
