About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Strategic responsibility for all relevant digital marketing channels
Analysis of existing subscriber and sales channels and development of a cross-channel funnel
Copywriting and creation of marketing campaigns
Operational management, coordination and reporting of campaigns to executive management
Building and maintaining performance marketing activities in collaboration with our team (e.g., paid advertising, email marketing, social media)
Identifying and integrating new marketing and growth channels
Developing measures to increase the visibility of our magazines and books together with our sales team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong, results-focused copywriting skills
Several years of professional experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on digital and growth marketing
Practical expertise in cross-channel funnel planning and performance tracking, with an emphasis on subscription models
Initial experience with paid advertising, email automation, social media and influencer partnerships
Understanding of data analysis and optimization logic
Creative, independent and results-oriented working style
Understanding of our brand identity (Jacobin and Brumaire Verlag)
Desirable: knowledge of the publishing industry
