About the role
- Strategic responsibility for all relevant digital marketing channels
- Analysis of existing subscriber and sales channels and development of a cross-channel funnel
- Copywriting and creation of marketing campaigns
- Operational management, coordination and reporting of campaigns to executive management
- Building and maintaining performance marketing activities in collaboration with our team (e.g., paid advertising, email marketing, social media)
- Identifying and integrating new marketing and growth channels
- Developing measures to increase the visibility of our magazines and books together with our sales team
Requirements
- Strong, results-focused copywriting skills
- Several years of professional experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on digital and growth marketing
- Practical expertise in cross-channel funnel planning and performance tracking, with an emphasis on subscription models
- Initial experience with paid advertising, email automation, social media and influencer partnerships
- Understanding of data analysis and optimization logic
- Creative, independent and results-oriented working style
- Understanding of our brand identity (Jacobin and Brumaire Verlag)
- Desirable: knowledge of the publishing industry
