About the role
- Work independently as the sole QA Engineer within a development squad team.
- Take ownership of features from specification to production.
- Analyze requirements, create test cases, and execute tests.
- Support defect life cycle activities (bug reporting and tracking).
- Perform manual testing, use no-code testing tools, and conduct API testing.
- Ensure delivery of a stable product as part of a continuous software development life cycle.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer at software companies.
- Familiarity with and a deep understanding of test methodologies, bug cycle management, and test design skills.
- Experience writing test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in using Chrome developer tools.
- Experience with Postman or Fiddler for API testing.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and test complex systems.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Nice to have: Experience using automated testing tools, especially no-code platforms such as Testim.io.
