About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advocate for members and enhance their experience by providing solutions that help them achieve financial goals
- Attract new retail and business members while deepening relationships with existing members using The Member Advantage approach
- Deliver exceptional member service with accuracy and operational excellence, including problem and complaint resolution
- Support branch growth and a profitable book of business to achieve individual, team, and corporate goals
- Build relationships through community/foundation involvement and existing member referrals
- Promote, educate, and demonstrate available member service channels
- Participate in coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training
- Detect and report fraud or irregular activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Achieve goals and objectives provided by management
- Serve as a subject matter expert for members and deliver expertise in financial services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree preferred, or combination of equivalent education and experience
- One to two years of branch banking experience
- Have passed and maintain Notary Public License within 6 months of completion of Relationship Banker Training
- Signature Guarantee permissions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to multi-task to meet or exceed minimum performance standards
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work out of any location at any time, as business needs dictate
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to operate in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
- Bilingual individuals fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply
