About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Welcome members and visitors while delivering professional and friendly service
- Provide outstanding service to new and existing members and fulfill service needs
- Accurately process financial service transactions while maintaining a cash drawer
- Detect and report fraud or irregular activities as a first line of defense
- Build member relationships by engaging in conversations, identifying solutions, and making recommendations
- Respond to member inquiries about information, products/services, lending, and related topics
- Problem-solve and resolve member issues in a timely manner
- Promote self-service resources and digital channel offerings
- Participate in cross-selling initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and events
- Pursue professional development through coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training
- Achieve management-provided goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Support the Wilton Branch and branches within Northwest Region #1, including Malta and both Clifton Park locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work out of any location at any time as business needs dictate
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to operate in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
- Excellent oral, written, and auditory communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal interaction skills
- Bilingual individuals fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply
