About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate within an Agile Team to analyze and translate business requirements
- Write high-quality, testable code meeting the Agile Definition of Done
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Contribute to iteration planning, refinement, and sprint reviews
- Commit to delivering stories and tasks within sprints

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or global equivalent in a software-related field and 5+ years of mainframe software development or related experience; or Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience
- Extensive software development experience using IBM Assembler on z/OS systems
- Experience with Source Code Management tools such as Endevor and GitHub
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Openness to learning new technologies and languages, following trends, and continuous innovation
- Experience with SQL on mainframe databases such as IDMS, Datacom, or DB2
- Knowledge of reading system dumps and TSO/ISPF
- Additional experience with one or more of Metal C, COBOL, ISPF, REXX, JCL, C, or C+
- Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira and Rally
- Familiarity with QA and DevOps concepts and practices, including test automation and CI/CD
- Advanced debugging skills using tools such as XDC
- Communication and organization skills
