Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Open Mainframe Solutions and Initiatives
Serve as the primary intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D
Partner with Product Owners and Architecture teams to prioritize features and explore new opportunities
Proactively identify and remove roadblocks across cross-functional teams
Lead Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives to drive product adoption
Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and software service providers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development
Deep understanding of the mainframe software industry, Open Source projects, community initiatives, and current transformation trends.
Deep understanding of software solutions built on open technologies like Linux, GIT, Python and others.
Advanced understanding of B2B business models, software licensing, and product delivery.
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional, and cross-disciplinary projects, with strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of successful executive-level presentations.
